The idea of designing wearable objects first began a response to the horrific events unfolding in Palestine and Gaza, as a way to use my practice to raise funds and awareness. I then started exploring this medium by creating contemporary designs of traditional cultural symbols.
These pins and earrings are now sold through my online shop, and are stocked in retail spaces that showcase local makers such as the Institute of Modern Art Gallery Shop, Open House, and Kingy Collective.
