We are setting out to design and curate an illustrated catalogue of designs from across the Levant.
We aspire for this Levantine Lexicon to be a documentation of our community, an exploration through your lenses about our stories and designs that echo across the region. Spark conversations with your elders and each other, and submit the Levantine designs you’d like to see in this collection. Tell us about a designed object, system, or space that we can feature.
This project was born in 2023 from the longing to explore our heritage as immigrants missing home. We put this work on hold when the horrific events in Gaza ramped up. This Zine compiles a few designs that we illustrated and researched before this project was put on hold.
